The Polymers, Biomaterials, and Medical Devices symposia provide an interdisciplinary forum for presenting recent advances in polymer science and biomaterials for medical applications. The scope includes the design, synthesis, and processing of polymeric and composite biomaterials for drug delivery, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and medical devices. The symposium highlights fundamental aspects of material fabrication and assembly, including electrospinning, self-assembly, and additive manufacturing, and their influence on material performance. Studies bridging theory, modeling, and experiments to elucidate material behavior across multiple length scales are particularly encouraged. Collectively, the symposium aims to advance foundational knowledge that enables the rational design of next-generation biomaterials and medical devices.
